Lisa Marie Presley was married four times during her life, and Michael Lockwood was her last husband. The singer/daughter of Elvis Presley met her ex while he played guitar in her band. They married in Jan. 2006 and in Oct. 2008, they welcomed twins Finley and Harper.
Lisa Marie filed for divorce in 2016. The children were temporarily put in mother Priscilla Presley’s care in 2017 after Lisa Marie accused Michael of having “inappropriate images” of the kids. He was cleared of the accusations in investigations by both the Beverly Hills Police Dept. and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
Michael reacted to news of Lisa Marie’s death following her Jan. 2023 passing. He reacted in a somber statement via his attorney Joe Yanny. Given to ET, it read, “Michael had been hoping for a speedy and complete recovery because her children needed her. It is very sad it didn’t turn out that way. Michael’s world has been turned on its ear. He is with both of his daughters now.”
